Business
Networks International Inc. (BNETAL) will represent the
Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH, www.caqh.org)
Committee on Operating Rules for Information Exchange (
CORE ) on the Health Information Technology Standards Panel
(HITSP)'s Security, Privacy and Infrastructure technical
committee. As a CSC subcontractor, BNETAL played a key role
in developing CAQH's CORE Phase II Connectivity Rule to
facilitate interoperability between healthcare providers
(doctors offices, hospitals etc.), vendors, and health insurance
companies.
Business
Networks was chosen for its CAQH/CORE expertise and experience
on national level healthcare and public-health data interchange
initiatives like the National Health Information Network
(NHIN) and Public Health Information Network (PHIN), and
its expertise in messaging and security standards. As part
of this team, Business Networks plays a prominent role in
facilitating the technical discussions around messaging,
security, and the selection of standards.
